Project Overview

Essence Festival needed digital content to drive app downloads and engagement ahead of their annual New Orleans event. The animations needed to work across multiple platforms from airport displays in New Orleans to social media feeds while maintaining brand consistency at every size. Designed and animated two distinct campaigns using After Effects. The first was an app promo encouraging festival attendees to download the Essence app for lineup details and event information, delivered in six formats including airport display specs (1440x768, 1920x450) and standard social formats (4x5, 1x1, 9:16, 16:9). The second was a photo-driven animation synthesizing four key images into a 15-second piece for paid media distribution. Handled animation, technical exports for airport displays, and all client revisions. Built a reusable template system for the app promo to maintain consistency across the six required formats.
